This new song by Kanabi Kanibizu is a song I originally created back in 2010 or 2011 and never published it. I'm excited to finally have published the song!

"Sudatsu (巣立つ)" shares the struggles parents go through when their little babies grow up and leave the home. I added some audio of walking sounds to add to the effect of the child walking away at the very end of the song.
I did not have kids when I wrote this song and I still don't, so it may seem odd that I wrote it. To be honest, I don't remember why I did! I would say that it was how my parents felt but when I wrote this song, I had already traveled away from home and lived so many random places already that though my parents miss me, it's not like that initial shock of a child moving out. I was also not their first child to do so, so even the first time was maybe less than that first child moving out.
What I do remember is writing lots of random poems/lyrics that came from nowhere. I would just write. Whatever came to my head, I put it on paper. A lot of the songs I created, I listen to them now and i'm like wow, this really speaks to me now, but at the time I wrote it, it didn't really have meaning for me. Sometimes I feel like the songs either will just be for me at a later date like the others have been, or maybe I am creating music for some strangers and I don't realize it.
I hope someone out there will enjoy this song and that it speaks to them.
I feel like in life, we have many moments like this where we have to do something hard, knowing that it's important in the long run. We struggle through pain, for the greater prize we know will come out of it.
Little eyes
Don’t say goodbye
Turn around
Kaette kudasai (帰って ください) (Please come home)
Aishiteru (愛してる) (I love you)
Ikanaide (行かないで) (Don’t go)
Just turn around
Just turn around
Kaette (帰って) (Come home)
My love
Little eyes
Don’t say goodbye
Turn around, don’t say goodbye
Turn around, don’t say goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye
